Open to all of the community.
Every Friday (except bank holidays).
Between 12:30 am -1:30 pm
Find our food larder just through our courtyard gates towards the fire exit doors.
We ask that only one family member from each household comes in to be considerate of others so we can share our produce with more people.
You MUST have a WR11 postcode.
Fridays 12.30pm - 1.30pm
At Wallace House, we have a Community Larder where we redistribute surplus food and sandwiches donated by local supermarkets and food suppliers. This means supplies can be limited as we do not control the amount we get so weeks may vary.
Our food larder is here to provide immediate support to people experiencing food insecurity, while also helping people access longer-term support where needed.
After 6 consecutive visits, we ask that you meet with Citizens Advice to discuss your circumstances and make sure you are receiving all the appropriate support, advice and assistance available to you.
At your 6th visit, you will be given a referral ticket to take to Citizens Advice. The ticket will need to be signed by Citizens Advice to confirm that you have spoken with them.
If the ticket has not been signed, we reserve the right to pause further food larder visits until you have contacted Citizens Advice and the ticket has been completed. This is to ensure that we can support you in accessing the most appropriate help for your circumstances, rather than relying solely on food bank support.
We understand that asking for additional help can sometimes feel difficult, and our aim is to make sure you are connected with the right services and support for the longer term.
